What is Korea without Kimchi? It is a staple in many of their traditional dishes, it is so common to find it in all their meals as a side dish. It is usually made out of Napa cabbage, radish, some carrots and fused together with the red hot chili flake known as Gochugaru.
Here we learn the most basic kimchi, it is a great introduction to fermentation and a great dish to make for any meal. So get your jars out and clear out a shelf because your whole kitchen is going to smell like kimchi soon.
CHICKEN TERIYAKI WITH BROCOLLI
A lovely stir fry all the way from the land of the rising sun, perfectly tender pieces of juicy chicken bites. Coated with a perfect balance of sweet, savory and a hint of sesame to tie it all down.
Super easy to cook, chopped, cooked and done within 15 mins or less. This is the recipe for someone who is rushing for a busy day ahead or just forgot to prepare dinner for a special someone. A true dish that will satisfy any belly.
How to Make Da Chicken Teriyakiiiii
Ingredients

Cut up your chicken into little cubes as BIG or as small as you want it.

In a pan on medium high heat add a little bit of oil and start to fry your chicken.

In a bowl combine 1tb of light and dark soy sauce, 2te of sugar, 0.5te of sesame oil, 1te of vinegar, and 3tb of plain water. Mix till well combined and the sugar has dissolved.

Once the chicken is just about cooked add in your broccoli and your mixture. Cover the pan with a lid and let it steam for 3-5 minutes on medium HIGH heat.

Remove the lid and give it a stir and let the chicken and broccoli simmer away in the sauce for another 3 minutes or till greeted with a lovely sticky dark sauce.

300g Chicken Thigh

2 Cups Broccoli

1tb Light Soy Sauce

1tb Dark Soy Sauce

2te Sugar

1/2te Sesame Seed oil

1te Vinegar
8.
Sesame Seeds

1 Clove Garlic Minced

Plate and garnish with some fresh sesame seeds (toast your sesame seeds if you want that extra kick).
EXTRA: Serve with a bowl of rice, over noodles or even some bread. You can easily swap out the broccoli for any vegetable of your liking, and you can swap out chicken for beef, fish, whatever you wish it is yours to design.
