What is Korea without Kimchi? It is a staple in many of their traditional dishes, it is so common to find it in all their meals as a side dish. It is usually made out of Napa cabbage, radish, some carrots and fused together with the red hot chili flake known as Gochugaru.
Here we learn the most basic kimchi, it is a great introduction to fermentation and a great dish to make for any meal. So get your jars out and clear out a shelf because your whole kitchen is going to smell like kimchi soon.
Easy Fluffy Pancakes

I love my pancakes with just a bit of crunch at the sides, with a soft airy center. Topped with some butter, a huge side of fruits and who can forget good old maple syrup, or if you like it a bit healthier; HONEYYYY.

In a bowl mash mix together 1 cup of flour, 2ts of baking powder, 1tbs of sugar and 1ts of salt till well combined.

Make a well down the center and crack in an egg and pour in 1 cup of whole milk.

Whisk together till just combined and homogeneous. DO NOT OVER MIX. If not you will have a very tough pancake.

1 Cup Flour (all purpose)

1 Egg

2ts Baking Powder

1tb Sugar

1ts Salt

1 Cup Whole Milk

Heat up a pan or a griddle to medium heat, add in a bit of oil and spoon in about a 1/4 cup of the mixture.

Using the spoon in a circular motion press the batter all the way to the corners of your pan. This will form them KRISPEE bits.

Once you see bubbles start to form and leave holes in the pancake, FLIP, and cook for another minute.
7.
Serve up a tall stack with your favorite toppings and enjoy a good breakfast early in the morning, ready to start your day RIGHT.
