What is Korea without Kimchi? It is a staple in many of their traditional dishes, it is so common to find it in all their meals as a side dish. It is usually made out of Napa cabbage, radish, some carrots and fused together with the red hot chili flake known as Gochugaru.

MUSHROOM LEEK PENNE
Leek is such a great vegetable, it is fragrant, sweet and tastes amazing on anything. But paired with some mushrooms in a cream based pasta, you will be rewarded with a dish that tickles your taste buds.
A simple dish that can easily be cooked in under 20 minutes all based on your chopping skills. A quick easy meal specifically for students or people looking for a quick but healthy bite.
CREAMY GOODNESS
Ingredients

Penne

Mushrooms
3.
Leek
4.
4 Cloves Garlic
5.
1/4 Cup Double Cream

1 Lemon
1.
Slice up your mushrooms and mince your garlic.

Cut your leek in half exposing all the inner layers. Give it a good wash making sure to get rid of all the dirt that has gotten stuck in there. Give it a rough chop into bite sized pieces.

Set your pasta to boil.

In a pan on medium high heat add in some oil.

Throw in your mushrooms and leek and give it a good fry till they are almost cooked.

Add in your garlic and continue to fry till fragrant.

Grate in 1 lemon's worth of lemon zest and the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
8.
Add in 1/4 a cup of double cream and let it simmer on low heat.
9.
Season with salt to taste.

Add in your pasta and coat well, if it is too dry add in some pasta water. Season with salt and pepper and you got yourself a quick and easy pasta dish.
