GINGER BEEF


Now who doesn't like a little kick of ginger in their meals, the fiery hot heat of ginger pairs perfectly well with soft tender pieces of beef warped around a thick savory umami sauce.

Did I not also mention Ginger is filled with wonderful vitamins and nutrients that will not only help you fight off bacteria but also helps with your digestion and is super good for the relief of pain?

Ingredients

  1. 500g of Beef

  2. 2tb of Corn Flour

  3. 1 Bell Pepper

  4. 1 Sliced White Onion

  5. 4 Cloves of Minced Garlic

  6. 1 Thumb Sized Piece of Ginger (Sliced)

  7. 1 Scallion

  8. 1tb of Light Soy Sauce

  9. 1tb of Oyster Sauce

  10. 1te of Sesame Seed Oil


STEPS

  1. Time to SHARPEN your knife skills. Thinly slice your beef into think slices and coat them with corn flour, this keeps them nice and moist during the cook.

  2. Heat up some oil and deep fry your beef in batches till they are cooked through.

  3. In a pan heat up a little bit of oil on medium high and fry your sliced onion, cubed bell pepper, minced garlic, scallion and 1 thumb sized piece of ginger THINLY sliced (Thinner the better).

  4. In a bowl mix together 1tb of light soy sauce, 1tb of oyster sauce, 1te of sesame seed oil and 2tb of water till well combined.

  5. Add the sauce into the pan and reduce the heat to medium low and gently simmer the sauce with all the veggies.

  6. Add in your beef, coat and you got yourself a lovely aromatic stir fried ginger beef. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Extra: Add in a table spoon of dark soy sauce to make the dish more appealing and even more delicious.
