STEAMED EGG WITH TOFU

Ingredients

  1. 4 Eggs

  2. 150g Firm Tofu

  3. 2tb Light Soy Sauce

  4. 1 Spring Onion

  5. 1 Cup of Water

STEPS


  1. Crack and beat up 4 eggs with 1 tb of light soy sauce and 1 cup of water till smooth and homogenous.

  2. Put your eggs through a strainer as this will help give you the smoothest end result for that perfect jiggle.

  3. Gently slice your tofu into 1/4 inch pieces and gracefully layer it into a heat proof bowl.

  4. Gently pour your strained egg mixture over and cover the bowl with some aluminium foil. This will help prevent water droplets on the egg, giving a smoother finish.

  5. Prepare your steaming set up and set your egg & tofu mixture to steam for 10-15 minutes.

  6. Top off with some light soy sauce and some chopped spring onions for the finishing touches.
